Meet Danielle

Passion has been the fuel behind Danielle’s career. Born and raised in the salon industry by her mother, Karen Lefley, Danielle has always aspired to open her own salon. Her vision for The Headroom was to create an exciting atmosphere that still allowed for relaxation; a place where both clients and staff would feel comfortable. Danielle’s passion for the art of hairstyling and dedication to her career shines throughout The Headroom and is known to her team and clientele alike.

After joining Redken as a certified educator in 2009, Danielle’s career evolved into something different; sharing her passion and knowledge with fellow stylists and cosmologists became an unexpected love. Redken’s motto “Learn Better, Live Better” hit a chord with Danielle and became a standard she brought into The Headroom. She has made it a priority to invest in education for the cosmetologists at the salon and knows that through ongoing education, our team can provide the best experiences for our guests and truly love their careers, as Danielle does.

In 2011 Danielle became Redken Colour Certified, a title not easily attained. “Colour Certification was designed to recognize and reward top colourists. Our accreditation process assesses their technical skills, knowledge of hair colour products and principles, and their approach to colour formulation, application and colour correction. An individual that becomes certified will excel in the area of hair colour and provide top-notch service to their clients,” explains Christine Schuster, Senior Vice President of Education for Redken.
